Clinical independence
Elixir never directs diagnosis, treatment, prescribing, referrals or code selection. These stay with licensed providers.
Physician ownership
Each practice is owned by a Texas-licensed physician. Elixir owns only non-clinical assets.
Government payments
Medicare and Medicaid payments go to practice-owned accounts, consistent with federal anti-assignment rules.
Fair market value
Management fees are reviewed against fair market value each year and are never tied to the volume or value of referrals.
Privacy and security
HIPAA business associate agreements, security safeguards and annual staff training.
Billing integrity
Coding audits, overpayment refund procedures and monthly exclusion screening.
